Current Issues

I´m a football lover and a Boca Juniors fan, so, last Saturday I was sticked to my T.V. waiting for the “Superclásico”, the “dream final”. But, one more time, the violence won and the match never happen.

I would love to say that the violents are only a few, but no, sadly they´re thousands, maybe millions. The “football society” is a rotten society because this isn´t an isolated case. Only in sudamerican international cups we have plenty of cases where violence overshadowed the sport.

I think this Copa Libertadores has no sence at all anymore, the best is to finish it without a champion and penalize River Plate for the aggresions against the players of Boca Juniors.

This huge final, the last one with the format of a two matches final, was supposed to be a party, something to enjoy, but violence came, and I blame the media in part. In Argentina ALL the sports programs said that the one who lose the final should leave the country for two decades, they feed all this barbarie, until all this exploted last Saturday.

Rivalties in football are something that makes the GAME more interesting, but when people thinks that they can hurt someone else only because he or she is wearing the rivals jersey, something is really wrong and sick.
