My favorite singer

Andrés Ciro Martínez, is an argentinian singer who was part of the band “Los Piojos” since its started on 1989 until they separated on 2009. Then he began a solo career as “Ciro y Los Persas”. Now, in Argentina he is one of the  most famous singers, filling stadiums like River´s wich is for more than 60.000 people.

His passion for music started when his dad gave him an harmonica when he was 14 years old. That instrument showed him a new world he doesn´t know until then, and he loved it. That harmonica was so important for his career that now it is in the private museum of Maradona.

I don´t remember when I listened for the first time his music, but now I listen it all weeks. I really enjoy his music and I think that is a family thing, because my father and brother like him too and sometimes, when we are in the car, we listen to Los Piojos or Ciro y Los Persas.

Finally, I want to say that I went to one of his concerts when he came to Santiago last october. It was in the “Cosquin Rock” in the Movistar Arena, and I could enjoy the show in first row because there wasn´t so many people and we get there earlier. It was amazing.
